Stephen Spires Financial Consultants and Freedom Financial Planning have been purchased by Quilter Private Client Advisers in what is Quilter’s first deal of the year. The deal will contribute £130m in assets under administration to Quilter (previously Old Mutual Wealth).

Gunner & Co. are proud to have represented Stephen Spires Financial Consultants and worked closely with Steve to find the very best fit that suit his future plans and the best interests of his clients.

Managing directors of both Stephen Spires Financial Consultants and Freedom will be retiring, with their clients transferring to Quilter, while the financial planning director of Freedom, Nick Heys, will be joining Quilter.
